An adjustable suspended scaffold is also known as a temporary suspended platform. The most common type of suspended platform is two points suspended scaffold. The hoist consists of electromagnetic brake motors, centrifugal governor, speed-reducing system, rope guiding system, etc. The hoist adopts an “α” type rope guiding system with an automatic reeving function. The operator just needs to insert the rope into the hoist inlet.
The electromagnetic brake motor can be actuated automatically under the circumstances of electrical failure or power interruption and generates braking torque which can support and stop the suspended scaffolding platform.
Power is transmitted to the motor via general contactor KM1, motor control contactor KM3 and KM,4, thermal replay FR1 and FR2, and connector Q3 and Q4. Once there is an abnormal situation, press the emergency stop button on the electric control panel so that the general contactor loses power, the motor powers off, and the hoist stop working to ensure safety.
The thermal relay can power off automatically when the motor is overloaded. Two motors can work at the same time when the switch is turned to the middle position. Single motor works when the switch is turned to one side.
There are two safety locks for each swing stage scaffold. The safety locks are installed separately on the safety lock bracket which is above the hoist mounting frame.
This equipment adopts the anti-tilting type of safety lock. When the work platform tilts or the working steel rope breaks, the safety lock can lock the steel wire rope automatically to stop the suspended platform from falling down.
Steel wire rope and safety rope are the main components that bear the suspended platform. So, it is strictly regulated to select steel rope. The work steel rope is zinc-plated with features of high strength and good rust resistance. To prevent the steel rope gets loosened and inserting the rope into the hoist and safety lock easily, its ends have been welded to a bullet shape.
